What happens in a lab vetting call

The step between your first meeting and your quote, explained.

After Sakuya sets up your meeting, the lab runs its own review of fit. Here is what to expect.

The lab's questions

Expect questions about what systems you run, how many years of records you have, what file types you hold, and roughly how much of each. They may ask how records connect, such as tickets linking to orders or documents linking to projects.

What you should ask

Ask which file types interest them most, how anonymization will be handled on this deal, and what the next steps are after you share a file list.

No files change hands yet

Vetting is a conversation. You are not uploading anything at this stage. The goal is for both sides to confirm there is a fit worth pursuing.

After vetting

If the lab wants to proceed, they ask for the list of files you are willing to license. You decide exactly what goes on it.

Our average deal size is between $250K and $1M. Find out what your records are worth in a few quick questions.
