What a $250K to $1M data deal looks like

Our average deal size, and what tends to move a company toward the top of the range.

Sakuya's average deal size is between $250K and $1M. That range surprises most owners, who have never thought of their internal records as something a buyer would value.

What drives the number

Every deal is priced by the buyer, and no two are the same. In our experience, the factors that push a deal higher are a longer operating history, a wider variety of file types, records that connect across systems, and clear rights to license what you hold.

Size and speed

Larger teams tend to hold more varied records, which is part of why companies with 80 to 100 or more employees can often close in under a week. Smaller qualifying companies can still land strong deals when their records are distinctive.

What it does not require

You do not need a data team, a special database or a famous brand. The deals we see come from operating companies with ordinary documents, design files, finance records, messages and support history.

Complete our four‑question intake. If you qualify, we set up a lab meeting, and after vetting and your file list, a quote typically arrives within 24 to 48 hours.
